Funding of £122.60 for a banner and a table to aid the Sevenacres Team in promotion and advertising

The Friends of St Mary’s Hospital Trustees were delighted to agree funding of £122.60 for a banner and a table to aid the Sevenacres Team in promotion and advertising going forward.

Carers support is an important element of the Mental Health Triangle of Care and adequate promotion of their services enables The Trust to evidence support of this. Appropriate advertising will ensure that professionals and the public will understand who they are and what they do so that they can work in partnership to ensure identification and support of carers in need.

Sarah Hart, Team Leader, in Sevenacres Carers Lounge explained how the equipment will help the team

“The equipment provided to the Sevenacres Carers Lounge by St Mary's Friends enables us to promote our service at networking events among health and social care colleagues. We are also able to use the banner during our Carer Awareness Training Workshops now running regularly at Sevenacres and currently on offer to approximately 500 staff across the Mental Health Trust. Our bright banner which matches our uniforms ensures that people know who they are in the room with!”
