Mandy Blackler kindly let us know how the items funded are helping in their work supporting the veteran population on the Island and how useful the trolley has been around the wards.
Boards – “We are delighted to have received the notice boards from Friends of St Mary’s, they’ve already made such a difference as we set up pop up stands once a month to advertise our veterans work and having our own means that we don’t have to borrow the trust boards and can leave our own literature on there. Having the black background means they are distinguishable from others and the marketing materials really pop on these, thank you.”
Trolley – “We’re so grateful to have received the trolley from Friends of St Mary’s, it has already been put to really good use during the vaccination season as it has meant we can go out to our clinical areas to offer vaccines. Going forward we’re hoping to start ‘Trolley Tuesdays’ with a whole host of surprises coming up – watch this space for further details!”

The items purchased were funded by a very generous and kind donation to the Friends of £675.00 from Sandown Townswomen's Guild from hosting coffee mornings throughout the year in 2024.
It is only by wonderful donation like this we can do more of what we do...
Thank you so much everyone in the Guild, it is very much appreciated.
