"Yet again Jussna Mateen and her family have honoured the Friend of St Mary’s Hospital by raising funds for us by way of arranging a takeaway curry for colleagues. The family restaurants bear the cost of the food, preparation and packing and the income from the exercise is then donated to the Friends. The latest event in October raised £700, which is so amazing. The Friends very much appreciate the time, effort and planning which goes into these ‘curry nights’ and ensure that the proceeds are used wisely for the benefit the Isle of Wight NHS Trust. Thank you again Jussna and family for your amazing support".
Jussna kindly let us know…
“Over the years, our fundraising meals for the Friends of St Marys, have raised up to £4000. It is wonderful to have the support of my colleagues and the family restaurant to provide the delicious food, to make this a successful event. All the proceeds go directly to the charity, to benefit both patients and staff at Isle of Wight NHS Trust”.
