New Chairs for Day Unit

Rather basic plastic black chairs used by patients in the Day Surgery Unit have now been replaced by 20 much more comfortable chairs in a variety of cheerful colours. Unit sister, Julie Hailes, said, “Patients can experience lengthy waits on these chairs and there has been a great deal of feedback on the old ones, that they are exceedingly uncomfortable. “Now the feedback is very positive, and we are most grateful to the Friends for agreeing to spend the necessary £2,400.”
