Friends enjoy NHS 70th Anniversary Fete in Hospital Grounds

The Friends had a presence at the NHS’s 70th anniversary fete in the hospital grounds. Foyer shop and café volunteers, Shirley Bridgeman and David Baldock (pictured), ran the Friends stall. Also helping to promote the Friends were trus-tees Lesley Myland, Jane Reeve, June Ring and Martin Keightley. And Martin bagged an award for his prowess on a bicycle machine. The Friends sold books and CDs, and ran a ‘ball in the bucket’ for children.
